So today I have special blanket and pillow set that I made especially for my very first granddaughter, I have made this type of polar fleece knot blanket before, but this time I wanted it to be extra special so I decided to cross stitch a special message.

The thing I love most about being part of the Crazy4Challenges design team is I am challenged to make cards that I might not have ever made. This card is a prime example. If someone would have said that I would make a Pickle themed card AND draw cut and colour my own pickles I would have said that it was probably not likely BUT guess what, not only did I do that I made it into a green monochromatic interactive card π₯π€―. Apparently today (Nov 14) is PICKLE DAY so the challenge was to make a card inspired by pickles, either by including a pickle, or food that goes with pickles, use the colour green, or incorporate a pickled theme sentiment. I hit most of the marks with this one.

Every once in a while I get excited about how a card turned out, and I have to say I am pretty happy with this one. I made this card especially for my niece and Iβm finally able to share it. At first I was stumped as to what to make her as I generally go a little over the top when making cards for her and her brother (His last card) But I was inspired by a Shaker Card that I made a few months ago and I wanted to change it up a bit make it bigger and better. And this is what I came up with.

Happy weekend, I am here this weekend with another Crazy4Challenges challenge. This weeks challenge was to make a βThank Youβ or a Thanksgiving giving card. Well here in Canada Thanksgiving was last month so I decided to make a Thank you card. This past week the Karen Burniston design team (I am not a design team member) posted their monthly challenge which was to make a fall themed slimline card, so I decided that I would then make a Fall themed slimline Thank you card. This is what I came up with.

Hahahaha this card makes me laugh, it is the birthday card that I made my little brother (in August π) who………. HATES garden gnomes π Ever since he was a child he hated garden gnomes, so being the loving older sister I just had to make him this card for his birthday. My only regret was I had to mail it so I didnβt get to see his reaction π This is my Second Garden Gnome, check HERE if you would like to see my first one.
