Here is the card I made for the blog hop, as soon as I saw the Spider Slim Pattern Plate I pictured these creepy crawlers in motion with the Hearts Collage Pop up mechanism.

I know I always say this, but really with this card all the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.
- Black card stock 8” x 7” scored at 4”. Card is 4”x 7”
- cut 3 patterned orange pieces to 3 3/4” x 6 3/4”
- cut Patterned Plates Spiders from black card-stock. I cut 2
- layering the largest 2 dies from the Short Rectangles Crosshatch I made 2 frames, one from black, one from the orange patterned paper, using the larges die, cut a piece of acetate.

- it’s hard to see but I added the orange rectangle over the orange paper, just to reference where to add the decorations.
- I started cutting apart the webs and spiders, I wanted a more sporadic look.
- I started adding the webs and spiders, I wanted more webs than spiders on the front.
- I double uped a few spiders so the would have some weight so they would shake around better when I put them in the shaker.

- add the other 2 orange pieces of paper to the inside.
- die cut the mechanism from the Heart Picot Panel from black cardstock
- assemble the mechanism and add to the card, I have a link below to the product page where there is a video.
- I double-layered acetate strips, I sandwiched sticky strip on both ends.
- adhere the strips to the underside of the black arms.

- I started adding webs and spiders, and on the end of the arms that drag a bit (top and bottom) I added a bubble, so they glide over the webs and don’t catch on them.
- start decorating the arms
- add more sliders, I added a couple more arms to the middle of the mechanism. Also I added a bubble half way down the bottom arm.
- I cut the EEK!!! From purple and black using the Mini Alphabet and Numers set. I added them to an acetate strip then added it to the lower arm over the bubble. I also added a matching message block to the bottom corner using the Short Rectangle Crosshatch.

- now back to the front- add the black frame to the acetate.
- On the backside add foam adhesive strips.
- add the shaker bits inside the orange frame, I used silver mini sequins, black sequins, mini silver beads, and a few of the double upped spiders.
- I always add extra adhesive
- add the acetate frame over the shaker bits, lining it up with the orange frame underneath. I added Happy, from the word Set 2 Birthday die set, and stamped Halloween with a retired Stampin Up alphabet dieset.
