Sunflower Wreath-C4C508

Welcome to the weekend, and with the weekend comes another Crazy4Challenges challenge. This week’s Challenge is to have a wreath on the card, any style or theme. I’m not quite feeling the Christmas cards quite yet and I have a birthday card I need for someone in the near future so I thought I would make a Birthday card with a wreath. I also that I would make it into an easel card because they just sit up so pretty. This is a wider version of an easel card compared to cards I have done in the past.

to see a video of this card please check out my Facebook page feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations.

What I really love about this card is that I was able to use a die that I own in a different way than it was intended (gotta love when that happens) The leaves for the wreath were originally shaped as a tree top, but with a little trimming and re-shaping…….. voila I have a wreath.

All the cardstock is from Stampin’Up and the colours are listed below, and the dies are from Karen Burniston (links below)

Add the Wreath to the center of the cardbase.

Thanks for joining me! I am a paper crafting enthusiast who has a special interest in interactive cards. I get a lot of inspiration from the internet so I thought that I  would throw out my own creations with hope that it inspires someone else.
