Family Graduation card

Today I am sharing a Graduation card that I made for my niece. My cards are notoriously late 🤦🏻‍♀️. But because I was so late with this card I actually got to see the family photos, so I thought I would take advantage of the situation and dress everyone the same as in the photos, and I also used the school colours.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would share your own creations.  A video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

I made a square card base and cut the other layers as shown below.

To make my sisters family I used pieces from the Paper People , Paper People Summer Styles, and the cap and gown are from the Graduation Elements. I cut the and assembled the Little Bench Pop up (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ )

I decided to decorate the backs of the people as well. I wanted the dad to look taller so I attached him higher on the back of the bench then extended the legs by cutting another pair of pants , splitting the legs then adding to the bottom. Instead of adding the table that Karen uses I added the graduate to the table base

I used the new Square Cascade Add ons to add the greeting and the signature block and I stamped the greeting from the Grad Greetings Clear Stamps and added them to the inside of the card.

I didn’t measure, I just layered some scraps that I had left over. I diecut the words from the Wordset 17 and the cap and gown from Graduation Elements
