Welcome to our Karen Burniston Products – KB Riley LLC July. Release Blog Hop. The Design Team have come together with Karen today for a fun blog hop to celebrate the release of 10 new dies and 5 new stamp sets. When creating a card for the blog hops I try to think outside the box a bit. I decided to use the Gazebo Add on but with a twist on the proportions. Instead of it being a gazebo, I made it into a bird feeder.

Six Pack of Soda Pop

Hey hey, today I am sharing my second new release card. I decided to make a bright birthday card using the new Tool Box Pop up with the Six Pack Tool Box Add On. The six pack can also be used to make a six pack of beer, but i thought with the bright colours that I wanted to use, it would work better if I made bottles of pop.

Cascading Butterflies

IT’S NEW RELEASE DAY!!!!!!!! And what a great release!!!! So many fun options it was hard to decide where to start.

The first set I decided to play with was the Cascade Pop up. In all honesty when I first got the chance to play I had been sick for 2 weeks and I was not feeling very creative. I told myself I would go into my room for 15 minutes, and if I wasn’t feeling it, I would try again the next day. Well when I sat down I saw this gorgeous glittering butterfly gift bag that I had purchased before I got sick (I totally forgot about it) I thought that the butterflies would look beautiful flying up the Cascade pop up,

Toy Box with Blocks- July Design team challenge

How cute is this card, I was originally not sure what I was going to make for this months design team challenge, which is “box or blocks”. But then I remembered that I recently purchased the Treasure Chest dieset and I thought that it would make a great toy box, and then when choosing toys I decided to add the blocks, so I covered both options for this months challenge.

Poppin red Stage Pop up Balloon card

I always find making cards for teenage boys tough. I was flipping through my patterned paper and I came across this grey and black checkered paper and I thought that it would be a good start. I decided to go with black, grey, silver and red. It’s hard to tell but there is a red and a silver metallic elements as well.
