Double sided Shaker Rainbow card

This is my 4th entry for the Craft Roulette card making challenge. Again this is a card I don’t think I would have ever made without being challenged to create within these parameters. The parameters this week were to create a β€œPeek a Boo” card, colour theme was β€œfirst grader”, the element is β€œRain” and the random is β€œDistress edges”. And for those who follow me know it’s a given that the card will also have a pop up mechanism.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

Double Easter Bunny cards- April designer challenge

Easter is just around the corner, so when Karen announced that the April Designer Challenge was to have a card with a β€œBunny” on it, it was kind of a no brainer. This card has an Easter Bunny on the outside and a chocolate bunny on the inside. This is my take on a CARD that Karen Burniston made a couple of years ago. For those of you that know me, you know why I need 2 πŸ‘§πŸΌπŸ‘§πŸΌ

Masculine Balloon Bouquet

I had so much fun playing Craft Roulette last week that I thought it play again. This weeks perimeters are β€œmini drop down”, colours β€œfrom patterned paper”, it has to have a β€œbouquet”, and at least 3 layers. I chose to use the Pop n Swap die-set from Karen Burniston, and instead of a flower bouquet I made a balloon bouquet. I dug this patterned paper out of my stash, and I actually have 4 layers.

Champagne Birthday

When I saw this paper I knew if I teamed it up with this die-set it would make a fun masculine birthday card, and I think I was right. I needed a birthday card for my son who was turning 24 on the 24th that’s what makes it a champagne πŸ₯‚ birthday (in case you were wondering what a champagne birthday is πŸ₯‚ πŸŽ‚)

For anyone who typically follows me you may notice that I will be making a few changes. I am trying to stream line my blogging a bit as I am finding it quite time-consuming. I have decided that since the majority of my cards, I use die sets from Karen Burnkston. Karen makes amazing videos, so if she has a video that explains the assembly of her mechanism or other dies I will link it. I will still give dimensions and helpful hints, and will definitely still explain any changes I make or other important info. The links I share are to her product page for that item, scroll down the page and she has video directions. Because of these changes I will add the links as I work my way through the post instead of at the end. So there in no mix up on what dies I used for each steps.
