Blooming Flowers Pop Up Card

So I know Mother’s Day was last month, but I didn’t get the chance to post this card, and since the card theme can change with just a change of the greeting I thought I would post it anyway. I got this idea from a 50th Birthday Card that Karen Burniston made, I thought it would be fun to do it with flowers so I gave it a go.

The thing that makes this card so fun is that the front is clear plastic, so you get a peak of the inside but don’t get the full effect until it is opened.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

The cardstock and designer paper are all from Stampin Up and the colours are listed below.

The dieset used to make the mechanism is from Karen Burnistons Photo Collage Pop Up I took photos of my progress for reference but I recommend watching the VIDEO if you decide to give this a go.

The flowers and leaves are mostly from Karen Burnistons Flower Pot Pop up die set and the Woven Basket Pop up die set. There are few from my stash as well. I find it saves time to run every flower die through with each of the colours and then the same with the leaves and then I have piles of flowers and leaves to choose from when I’m ready to assemble.

They are hard to see but I also added itty bitty gems to the background for a little bling.

To see some other card that use this mechanism please check these out.

    1. I’m not sure what you mean by kit. The links I have go to the company that makes the die sets. I’m not sure why it wouldn’t let you. Maybe they don’t ship to where you live. I would need more info to be any help. I don’t personally sell kits.
