Strips & Scraps Pop Up Birthday Card

Hi, all, so a few months ago I was asked to be a guest designer for the Crazy 4 Challenges blog for the month of May 😊, the first challenge which will be posted on Saturday, May 4th, and the challenge is to use leftover paper, card strips or scraps. As soon as I saw the challenge I knew what scrap paper I would use, it is by far one of my favorite paper packs and I lovvveeee the colour combo, and I have a pile of bits and pieces.

Purple Bouquet

I have another Thankyou Card that I created using a brand new die set, Karen Burnistons “Woven Basket Box Pop Up.” It makes a really cute basket, that can fold flat and fit into an envelope for mailing. I actually made a few of these this past weekend they are kind of addicting.

Happy Humming Bird Birthday card

I am so happy with how this card turned out. The hummingbirds are super cute and I like that they are a surprise when you open the card. The one hummingbird on the right actually goes up and down when the card opens and closed.

Pop Up Cupcake Card

“Hay There Birthday Girl” Spinner Square pop up card

I have a fun birthday card today, my son’s friend asked if I could make a birthday card for his sister, his request was, could it have a horse, possibly a barn, and some kind of pop up/fun feature, and I said “Hay ya” 😂
