Hello crafty friends, today I am sharing this wedding card that I made for a friend of my son. I have to say I actually was able to catch the likeness of the bride and the groom.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would share your own creations. A video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.
I started by cutting out the pieces to the Gazebo Add on, I wanted the roof to look realistic so I started by colouring each shingle on the roof with a medium shade of brown alcohol marker and I added shading to the bottom and the right side with a darker brown. I then masked off the scalloped trim that I wanted to stay white and I brushed on a light shade of brown.

I cut the pieces of the Stage Pop up from white and added a wood grain patterned paper floor. I used the dies for the people to measure how long the supports need to be, and assembled. (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link β¬οΈ )

I used this wedding photo as reference. I used the Princess and Mermaid dieset to make the bride, I cut the pieces as shown, and the groom was made from the Paper People. I used the skirt from the Paper People Summer Styles to make the veil. When making the bride I left a gap between the front and the back to be able to slip the support up into. For the groom I cut out pieces for the back but didnβt assemble the back yet. For the back of the jacket I cut the shirt a second time but I didnβt cut out to the top, I cut it out by hand.

I added the bride and the groom to the stage as shown, then added the back pieces to the groom to finish him. I added the roof to the gazebo.

I added the sides to the gazebo, and the vines are from the Little Bench Pop up. I added shading with alcohol markers and highlights with a white gelly roll pen.

For the underside of the card I cut out the wood grain and the white panels, I needed the white panel to be a bit smaller so I carefully trimmed a bit off of all 4 sides. And decorated as shown.
