Monochromatic Swirly Shaker Slimline Mobile Card

This is a card that I made a very dear friend of mine, she is also my coworker so she often gets to see my cards before they are mailed out to their recipients and I have to say she is always full of such wonderful compliments I had to make her something special. I really liked how my Snowflake Mobile card turned out so I decided to try it with balloons. I also wanted to try to use the Karen Burniston Swirls Pattern Plate on a slimline card, and I got some realllly pretty glitter for Christmas that I couldn’t wait to use, and Voila I have a Monochromatic Swirly Shaker Slimeline Mobile card. πŸ€—

Valentine Shutter Card-C4C566

Hello, I am excited to share the first Crazy4Challenges challenge of the year πŸ€— Since it is a New Year the challenge is to create something new to me, new tool, new technique, new style……. I decided to try a new technique. It’s a technique that I have been wanting to try for a while but have’t had the time, so last weekend I watched a few videos and gave it a go and I have to say I wish I would have tried it sooner. It’s pretty easy and it doesn’t require any special tools πŸ˜ƒ and it can be used for any occasion, what else can you ask for in a technique. So here is my Valentines Shutter card πŸ’ (I added a mini card to the back for a special message)

All the fun is in the reveal, it’s hard to tell in the photo but the central shutter opens and closes as you open and close the card. Happy Birthday Sis

*This is my first card after the holidays, I tend to take a bit of time off the blog during the holidays as I do work retail and the holidays can be quite a busy time for me.

This is the card I made for my sister this past November. I really wanted to make her something special, as we don’t get to see each other very often. So I thought I would make her a card showing some of the things we’ve done together the last few times we’ve been together. The card includes Salted Caramel Martinis, Blueberry tea, Wine, (are you seeing a theme here πŸΈβ˜•οΈπŸ₯‚, hanging at the beach and ….. she loves plants 🌱 and gives me cuttings that I generally kill ☠️. I also made sure to use a pretty colour combo and some bling.

Easy Glitter Embossed Christmas Cards

Here are some cards that I made last year, I was in a pinch and wanted to make a few quick cards. I had made a SIMILAR CARD card a few years earlier so I went with the same design. The previous card was shades of blue and I had used the pine boughs, so I thought I would use a few traditional colours (and blue) and some different stamp sets and I quickly whipped up these cards.

I post all my cards on my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see my cards on my INSTAGRAM page.

Hint of Pink Christmas Shaker card

I’ve got an easier one today, apparently I’m having a hard time making traditional Christmas cards this year. I was just going to use the silver shaker bits but I thought it needed a bit of something and since the Champagne foil cardstock has a hint of pink I thought I would add pink glitter.
