Today’s Crazy 4 Challenges challenge is to create a card with a wine theme, apparently according to the days of the year calendar May 25th is wine day 🍷 , who knew 🤷♀️ So the planning began, I pulled out my Merry Merlot cardstock, my “Wine Tasters” stamp and my “Wine Charms” die set and this is what I came up with.

Hi, all, so a few months ago I was asked to be a guest designer for the Crazy 4 Challenges blog for the month of May 😊, the first challenge which will be posted on Saturday, May 4th, and the challenge is to use leftover paper, card strips or scraps. As soon as I saw the challenge I knew what scrap paper I would use, it is by far one of my favorite paper packs and I lovvveeee the colour combo, and I have a pile of bits and pieces.

Wow, I was digging through my cards and I found this one, lol. I use to LOVE punchart. I remember checking blogs, and website trying to find new creations to CASE and even coming up with some of my own. I did not invent these guys, when I made this card I was seeing them everywhere, so I don’t know who the original person one who though a scalloped circle would make a cute Muppet head. lol.

I am so happy with how this card turned out. The hummingbirds are super cute and I like that they are a surprise when you open the card. The one hummingbird on the right actually goes up and down when the card opens and closed.

Even a Papa can have balloons for his birthday card. This is the card that I made for my father-in-law for his birthday I thought that he would enjoy a fun card and with the darker colours, it has a little more of a mature feel than had I used big bright colours.
