Iβve been fighting a migraine for the last few days so I dug out a card from my Stampin up days. It is sooooo adorable, I just love Elmo. I actually made a stack of these at the time because I made them as part of a card swap. So these are easy to make multiples of and would also make great birthday invitations. If you want to change the colours and a few other small changes you could make any of the characters.

Hello, let me start by saying that this card almost felt like it needed to be made, It was like as I started getting the idea it just almost made itself. Maybe it was because the movie had been playing at work for about a week, maybe because balloons make me happy and I feel the need to share a bit of happiness when there is so much sadness and worry going on in the world right now. I canβt even think of who I would send this to because I want to send it to everyone I know and even those I donβt. Hopefully this card puts a smile on someone elseβs faceππ π
This card was also made for the Crazy4Challenges challenge. This weeks challenge was to make a gate fold card. That is a card that folds in from both sides and the opening is in the middle. I just turned mine sideways. Lol.
All the magic is in the motion, some of the balloons actually move up and down when the card opens and closes please check out my Facebook page or my Instagram to see the video. Feel free to join my Facebook group if you would like to share your creations.

Iβve been pretty busy (working on a really fun card for this weekends post π€) so I decided to post a card I made a while back (2014 π³). This is a back to basics kind of card with a little technique thrown in. If you look close I highlighted different spots on the butterflies with different colours of glitter. I found a way to colour my clearish Dazzling Diamonds glitter to match what ever colour of ink I was using. There wasnβt as many fun colours back then and even now sometimes itβs hard to find that exact match
Welcome to the weekend Woo Hoo, is it just me or was this a really long week, wow. With all the craziness going on right now with the COVID-19 I am looking forward to a quiet weekend and hopefully some time in my craft space. I am so anxious to share this card, it cracks me up every time I open it. Lol π I have been looking forward to making this card ever since I saw Karen Aikenβs Monkey Card for some reason I kept thinking the ovals would make great elephant ears.
This card is also a Crazy4Challenges challenge and this weeks challenge was a design challenge. I had to use a sketch for the front of the card and I was free to do the inside however I wanted. And this is what I came up with.

Ever since Karen Burniston came out with the fun Surprise Ball pop up there have been so many fun animal cards. I have a friend who asked if I could make her a Long Horned Cow so I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to try my hand at a double surprise pop up animal. I thought he was lonely so I made him some friends πππππ
