Hope things start looking UP! C4C528

Hello, let me start by saying that this card almost felt like it needed to be made, It was like as I started getting the idea it just almost made itself. Maybe it was because the movie had been playing at work for about a week, maybe because balloons make me happy and I feel the need to share a bit of happiness when there is so much sadness and worry going on in the world right now. I can’t even think of who I would send this to because I want to send it to everyone I know and even those I don’t. Hopefully this card puts a smile on someone else’s face🎈🏠😊

This card was also made for the Crazy4Challenges challenge. This weeks challenge was to make a gate fold card. That is a card that folds in from both sides and the opening is in the middle. I just turned mine sideways. Lol.

All the magic is in the motion, some of the balloons actually move up and down when the card opens and closes please check out my Facebook page or my Instagram to see the video. Feel free to join my Facebook group if you would like to share your creations.

Spin Me Right Round 2.0

This is a card I made by request. I was ask to make a card similar to this card. Whenever I get a request to make a card based on an other card I always try to make it different or better. When I made the first card and it was finished I had regretted not making the buttons interactive in some way as well. So this card was my second chance.

This spinning card was inspired to by a couple of YouTube videos, I am linking them as this is not my original idea and I got inspiration from these but did not follow directly Video 1 Video 2

To see a a video of this card in motion, please check out my Facebook or my Instagram Please feel free to join my Facebook group if you would like to share your own crafty creations.

Blow Me Away

So today I have a belated Valentine card. A coworker asked me if I could make him a card to give to his Star Wars lovin girlfriend knowing that not only was I not able to have it made by Valentine’s Day, it would probably be at least a week late, but he wanted it anyway so I thought that I would try to make it as special as I could. I’d be lying if I said this card didn’t have a few challenges it was a little trickier than I thought It would be but I just kept on moving forward and before I knew it, it was done. I also have to give credit to Lois Gray Bak as after seeing her “Death Star” gave me to idea to make this “Death Star”

This card had 2 separate pop up mechanisms and it LIGHTS UP 🤯

To see this card and all it’s POP UP and LIGHT up glory please check out my Facebook page or my Instagram, please feel to join my Facebook group if you would like to share your own crafty creations.

Celebrate Your Way

I’ve got a fun Birthday card today, and it is the first time that I used my Triple Flip die sest. This card is for someone who doesn’t like a lot of fuss for his Birthday so I made the front flaps look like a traditional Birthday card with cake, a gift, and balloons, but when the flaps are flipped they reveal the way he would rather take in the day which would be hanging out with his dog, enjoying a cold beer, watching Ghost Hunters lol

If you would like to see a video showing this card in motion please check out my Face Book page https://www.facebook.com/groups/MyMessyCraftroom/ Also feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations.
