Spin me right round

hello, so I thought I would try something new today. This is an interactive card that does not using any special dies. There were a few cards that were posted a few weeks ago using this techniques so I thought I would try my hand at it, so I checked out a few videos on YouTube (I’ll post below). I was having difficulty though, I actually had to start this mechanism over 3 times, not sure why as I usually can figure these things out pretty well. The problem I had was I couldn’t get the parts to spin without separating from each other, or they just wouldn’t spin, so I decided to add a brad to centre and that seemed to remedy it for me.

All the cardstock used in this card is from Stampin Up (colours listed below), and the patterned paper is from Creative Memories. I also used several nested circles dies. Like I mentioned above I watched a few videos, I am linking them as this is not my original idea and I got inspiration from these but did not follow directly Video 1 Video 2
