Over the Rainbow Birthday card

Every once in a while I get excited about how a card turned out, and I have to say I am pretty happy with this one. I made this card especially for my niece and I’m finally able to share it. At first I was stumped as to what to make her as I generally go a little over the top when making cards for her and her brother (His last card) But I was inspired by a Shaker Card that I made a few months ago and I wanted to change it up a bit make it bigger and better. And this is what I came up with.

Happy Birthday Bro LOL

Hahahaha this card makes me laugh, it is the birthday card that I made my little brother (in August 😊) who………. HATES garden gnomes 😂 Ever since he was a child he hated garden gnomes, so being the loving older sister I just had to make him this card for his birthday. My only regret was I had to mail it so I didn’t get to see his reaction 😂 This is my Second Garden Gnome, check HERE if you would like to see my first one.

Rainbow Shaker- C4C551

*Wow am I happy the weekend is here, and for us here in Canada 🇨🇦 it is a long weekend 😀. I was able to take the time this week to play along with this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge. Apparently September is “Shake Month”, technically this relates to milkshakes however for the challenge this week we were to create a shaker card. Now I’ve made a lot of shaker cards so I decided to do something I haven’t tried before and I made a rainbow shaker card I was inspired by a CARD I made a few months ago . I do not have a dieset that cuts out all the windows I did have to do this myself so check out my details below to see how I pulled this off

PAC-MAN scrap book page-C4C550 😀👻👻👻

Sooooo I’m cheating a bit this week. I started a post that I’m not done yet, and I really wanted to add a card to this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge so I had to dig out an older project and pull together a quick post. This weeks challenge was “to go Retro” and we were to interpret “retro” anyway we wanted. What’s more retro than Pac-Man? I remembered that I made a special scrap book for my nephew (it’s a photo/year growth chart scrapbook) and I made a Pac-Man page to add his 9th birthday photo to and I thought it would fit the theme. The size is 6”x6” so this would also make a good card.

Love You Birthday Boy

I really like how my husbands birthday card turned this year. I made a similar card a few months back and I quite like the effect of the clear plastic card front so I thought I’d make another one. Both cards were originally inspired by a Valentine’s Day Card by Karen Burniston
