Rainbow Shaker- C4C551

*Wow am I happy the weekend is here, and for us here in Canada 🇨🇦 it is a long weekend 😀. I was able to take the time this week to play along with this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge. Apparently September is “Shake Month”, technically this relates to milkshakes however for the challenge this week we were to create a shaker card. Now I’ve made a lot of shaker cards so I decided to do something I haven’t tried before and I made a rainbow shaker card I was inspired by a CARD I made a few months ago . I do not have a dieset that cuts out all the windows I did have to do this myself so check out my details below to see how I pulled this off

All the cardstock is from Stampin Up and the colours are listed below

The card base👇🏻

So to created the thin lines I use the Stampin Up Foam Strips and trimmed them when necessary.

All the elements below I pulled from my stash. The sequins I mostly got from dollar stars’ the same with the beads. The Felt flowers and some of the buttons are retired Stampin up. The little plastic shapes I really don’t remember where I got them, but they were in a container of stash stuff that I’ve had for YEARS LOL.

Now for the inside 😀. To create the mechanism I used Karen Burnistons Rockin Rectangle die set, link to a video tutorial is on the bottom of product page. I do have photo directions to follow as well. In order to fit this mechanism in a slimline card you will need to make the slight modification that I make below 😀
