Never More Than a Thought Away-C4C554

*Sorry I’ve been MIA, but I’m here with a fun card for this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge blog. I did make this card back in July, my mom was quite ill and this is a card I made for her. I haven’t had the chance to post it yet, and it just happens to fit this weeks challenge which is ……… to create a slimline card. Slimline cards have become quite popular these days so Karen Burniston came up with an alternative design for her Circle Tagbook die set, and I couldn’t wait to give it a go. This is my version…..

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

To see the rest of the beautiful cards by the very talented design team please check this out C4C blog

The cardstock is all from Stampin Up, the colours used are Soft Seafoam, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Garden Green, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, and Pool Party. The polka dot paper is from my stash, possibly from Costco

I used Karen Burnistons Circle Tagbook die set. I did take photos of my progress as a guide but I highly recommend watching Karen’s Video when trying to make this card, it is at the bottom of the product page.

I have a little bit of tape on the back of my dies as it helps to make the score lines more visible.

I used the different circle dies from the same die set to cut the frames and circles below. The stamps are retired Stampin up.

Most of the flowers and leaves cut are from the Flower pot Pop up dieset and the Woven Basket, The ivy leaves and the curly fine I bought from a thrift store so I am not sure who makes those.

Now for the front

The Argyle Border Blends are also a Karen Burniston die set.
