Never More Than a Thought Away-C4C554

*Sorry I’ve been MIA, but I’m here with a fun card for this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge blog. I did make this card back in July, my mom was quite ill and this is a card I made for her. I haven’t had the chance to post it yet, and it just happens to fit this weeks challenge which is ……… to create a slimline card. Slimline cards have become quite popular these days so Karen Burniston came up with an alternative design for her Circle Tagbook die set, and I couldn’t wait to give it a go. This is my version…..

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

Pop up Puppy Happy Birthday-C4C535

Woo hoo, it’s the long weekend, I don’t have anything planned but it will be nice to just relax, and get some cards done 😀 I have a LOT of birthdays in May and I’m already almost behind 😬 so I better get busy. Well enough about next week this week I have this really fun card. I needed to make a card for the Crazy4Challenges and this weeks challenge is a design/sketch challenge. I decided to turn the sketch sideways so my card does look a little it different.

This is the sketch

And here is my card

Rainbow Circles slimline Shaker card-C4C534

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is healthy and well. Through this time of Covid 19 I have made a few “Thinking of You” cards. I made this one for a friend who really wanted to send a card to a special loved one in her life. This time is so hard on everyone and I thought this card would brighten someone’s day. It is also Crazy4Challenges time and this weeks challenge is to make a slim line card. A slime line card is a long skinny card, my card is 4”x9” so it fits the challenge 😀

Raining Rainbows C4C531

Hey all, this is week 2 of me hosting the Crazy4Challenges challenge blog. This is so much fun. You know what they say “April showers bring May flowers” so this weeks challenge is to have rain 🌧 or a rainbow 🌈 on your card. I decided to have a bit of both. Last fall I made a Magical Rain card I really liked how it turned out so I thought that I would make a different version. I thought it would be really neat as a rainbow, I also changed the size of the card and the angles and this is what I came up with.

This card looks so much better in action so to see it in action please check out my Facebook page or my Instagram account.

Thinking of you K.I.S.S. card

it’s been a bit since I’ve posted a K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) card. To my new followers I use the turn as a reminder to myself that not every card I make has to be a 6 hour multi layer super pop-up card, it’s ok to take a step back and make something in a half an hour and call it good. The patterned paper that I used for this card is some of my favourite, I just love the colour combo so it was easy for me to pull this one together.
