I am so sorry for being M.I.A. these last few weeks, I have been dealing with this issue I’ve been battling with for quite a while now. I don’t usually put my life out on the Internet but I thought I’d let my followers know that I have a protruding disc in my neck which causes me to have quite a bit of constant pain down my left arm. It is making it very hard to be in my craft room, and really hard to type a blog. I’m on the mend and I’m hoping to be back in action within the next few weeks. I’ll post what I can when I can and hopefully I can get rolling again soon. Thank you for your patience and for sticking around.
I’m so sad that I haven’t been able to create all the fun valentine cards I was hoping to create this year. The card I am posting today is a card that I made last year but couldn’t post because I didn’t want to give the surprise away so I’m posting it today. I didn’t take as many photos last year as I do now so I just created this blog the best that I could with the photos that I have and my limited mobility (thank goodness for talk and text LOL) This blog is short and sweet but I hope you like it.
hello, so I thought I would try something new today. This is an interactive card that does not using any special dies. There were a few cards that were posted a few weeks ago using this techniques so I thought I would try my hand at it, so I checked out a few videos on YouTube (I’ll post below). I was having difficulty though, I actually had to start this mechanism over 3 times, not sure why as I usually can figure these things out pretty well. The problem I had was I couldn’t get the parts to spin without separating from each other, or they just wouldn’t spin, so I decided to add a brad to centre and that seemed to remedy it for me.
Happy Weekend, and this week’s Crazy4Challenges challenge is a Sketch Challenge. I have a special friend with a birthday coming up so I made this one with her in mind. When creating cards sometimes I try to come up with little side challenges just for myself, and one of them more often than not is to find (and use) something that I’ve had for years and not used previously. So this week I got digging through some Scrapbook Kits that I’ve had for YEARS and pick one out that suited the theme I was looking for. The benefit of using kits is that all of the items in the kit will coordinate with each other so it makes it a little easier and sometimes quicker.

So this is my second K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple Stupid) card that I have posted on my blog, the last one was a challenge to myself and this one was out of necessity, I had 6 cards that I had to make in one evening so this is what I came up with for one of them.
I’ve got a pretty blingy card today, it was a 17th Birthday card for my daughter and I wanted to reflect her sparkly personality 🙂 I used a lot of pastel colours, glitter paper, and blingy little gems. Oh, and how can I forgot I added a pop up 17 and a shaker element on the front.
I’ve got a quick one today, here is a fun circle flip card. I should have arranged them in a different order. The top pic is when the card is closed, the bottom pic is when the left side is open, and the middle pic is when both sides are open.
What little girl doesn’t love a princess or three LOL? this is a card that a friend of mine asked me to make for her stepdaughters birthday. This is the first punch art card that I have posted. Punch art is using punches or dies together to create something different.

Thanks for joining me! I am brand new to Blogging, but I am hoping to catch on quick. I am a paper crafting enthusiast who has a special interest in interactive cards. I get a lot of inspiration from the internet so I thought that I would throw out my own creations with hope that I might inspire someone else as well.
