Christmas Critters

Hello crafty friends, I have a cute Christmas card today and it was made while playing Craft Roulette . This weeks parameters are ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

I’m thinking a little outside the box on this one, instead of making a card that holds a β€œgift card” I put a card on a gift, look close the owl is holding it. For coffee shop colours I chose red and white as they are the Tim Hortons colours, the Browns are for the different shades of coffee and well, the blue is for the sky that can be seen out the windows. For the β€œGo Wild” I decided to use animals that could be found in the wild. I decided to add the numbers on the mittens as the card will be for a little girl who is just learning her numbers.

Touch of Gold Get Well Soon

Yay I got to play Craft Roulette this week and and I really love how this card turned out. I wanted to make a pretty card for a young lady who will be recovering from a surgery and I hope this card cheers her up.

Here are this weeks parameters ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

This is how I worked in the parameters. The borders are all side pockets with ribbon peaking out, I also have a gift card pocket on the back. To me spring colours scream fresh and clean Rhymes with β€œool” is Jewel and I have them sprinkled throughout the card. I used a brick embossing folder sideways to make columns in the background.

Autumn Trees Anniversary

It’s been a minute but I finally have a Craft Roulette inspired card. I had a lot of fun with this card, I made quite a few boo boos, but I continued through and I love how it turned out.

This week’s parameters are ⬇️⬇️⬇️ and I gave myself a couple other challenges as well. 1- besides the card base all of the other card stock had to come from my scrap bin. I have so much scrap paper I did not allow myself to cut from a full sheet. 2- use a die set that I have not used before, this is the first time I have used Karen Burnistons Family room Pop up , and 3- Mixed Media was a topic that was discussed on this weeks episode of Craft Roulette so I thought that I would give it a try.

The circles are little clear dots on the front, and the message space on the inside. The vegetable garden colours – orange pumpkin, red tomatoes, yellow corn, beans, green beans, peas, leaves, brown potatoes, blue sky. The screen element was tricky but the red fabric has a β€œscreen” like weave to it, the ribbon has a bigger β€œscreen” weave to it. The fluff is all over the trees, I used Flower soft to create this look.

Peek-a-boo Elf card

Still having so much fun with the Stocking Pop Up die set. This time I used the mechanism to pop up this adorable elf playing peek-a-boo in the stack of Santas presents. As you open and close the card the elf peeks up over the present he is behind.

Golf Course- slimline easel card

I know it’s a little late, but my hubby did get it on time. This is the first time I’ve made a slime line easel card and it turned out exactly how I imagined.
