To mix things up today I thought I would post a scrapbook page, this was a page from a book that was a baby gift for a friend. I call them growth chart books, when the book is given it is given with a stuffed bear, the recipient is supposed to take a picture of the baby with the bear every month and place the picture on the labeled pages. When the year is up the baby will have a growth record in photos.
Hello, today I’m sharing a card that I made for my daughter to give a friend. It was a winter birthday so I chose to do a winter scene. When making this card I originally made the inside too big so the cat ears were visible when the card was closed, so I added the teal borders to make the card bigger, which in the end made the card a little brighter and better. It just goes to show that sometimes a mistake can turn a project into something better than it would have been if you just keep working on it and use your imagination.
ok, so I would like to apologize for the lack of posts this week, I am in the process of moving “My messy craft room” from one room to another and it has turned into a bigger task than expected 🙂

So apparently I enjoy making beach cards, this is a card that I made my brother a while back, we spent many hours on beaches when we were growing up. If you are wondering why I have a bear instead of a frog or a crab or something else that one would possibly see on a beach, that’s because on our beaches we were more likely to come across a bear.
These cards make me laugh, who doesn’t love a party animal. As you can see one card uses forest animals and the other uses farm animals both are adorable 🙂
