“Friends”

Hello, today I’m sharing a card that I made for my daughter to give a friend. It was a winter birthday so I chose to do a winter scene. When making this card I originally made the inside too big so the cat ears were visible when the card was closed, so I added the teal borders to make the card bigger, which in the end made the card a little brighter and better. It just goes to show that sometimes a mistake can turn a project into something better than it would have been if you just keep working on it and use your imagination.

…..The pop-up mechanism used for this card is the “garden bench” die from Karen Burniston, (I really love this die) and the “Whiskers the cat” is also one of Karens dies. So is the little mouse gift with the bow.

All the cardstock and ink are from Stampin’ Up. The embossing folder, stamps, and punches used are from Stampin’ Up.  The dies used to make the border and the clouds are also from Stampin’ Up

Thanks for joining me! I am a paper crafting enthusiast who has a special interest in interactive cards. I get a lot of inspiration from the internet so I thought that I  would throw out my own creations with hope that it inspires someone else.
