Triple Surprise Cube Slider Birthday Box

IIIITTTTT’S KAREN BURNISTONS SNEAK PEAK WEEK 🤩 and I have to say there are some pretty fun dies sets with this release, I wasn’t even sure what to start with.

I thought these 2 sets together would make a great alternative to a birthday card, I made three coordinating Surprise Cubes which fit perfectly inside the new Slider box. I left one side of each cube blank so there are places to write birthday greetings and this is what I came up with. This is so fun, when you open the box the cubes fly out. Lol.

Balloon Birthday Bouquet

Sorry I’ve been MIA, I have had a crazy month. But I am pretty excited to share this card. When I originally saw this card from Sandy Diller I knew I just had to give it a go. Sandy made it as a mini slimline card but I wanted to go bigger. If you check out Sandy’s card she has a great video and she explains how to alter the mechanism used so it would fit in a mini slimline. I didn’t have to alter the shape like she did because I made my card 6” x 6”. Both cards have a great balloon surprise when you open the card.

Snow Family Advent Calendar

I was having so much fun with the snow man pieces I decided to do a second snow man card, well this time it’s not a card, I thought it would be fun to make a snow Family advent calendar. This was so much fun, the snow people are inspired by my son and his 2 daughters. ($10 bucks Brayden if you actually read this post lol)

Snowman

It is the NOVEMBER KAREN BURNISTON DESIGNERS CHALLANGE and this months challenge is “Snowman”, so we had to make a card that incorporates a snowman. I decided it would be fun to make multiple snowman on one card, and show a different way to use the Snowman Add on dieset. The faces and other decorations could also be used on the Surprise Ball snowmen should you want to make a pop up card. This is what I came up with (I apologize if I’m missing anything thing, I wrote this post while flying in a plane. Lol)

Slimline Label Charm Accordion card

When I first receive my Label Charm Pop-up dieset, the wheels in my brain started turning trying to plan a longer accordion version. I did make a different version (I’ll post a photo at the bottom of this post) but I changed it sooo many times when making it that my photos would make the tutorial too confusing. I came up with this version when I was trying to make an extra special card for my niece.
