Ever since I got the Paper Frames die set I wanted to work out how to have 2 of them in a slimline card. I am quite pleased with the results.

Its time for the Karen Burnistons design team challenge, and this months challenge is to create a card using one of the “Rubber Band Pop Up” die sets. So our options are- any of the Surprise Balls, the Surprise Cube, or the Bam box. I chose to use 3 Surprise cubes and stack them as shown. I know the foil paper looks like purple but it is actually pink, I also used a pretty pink glitter cardstock and and a bubble patterned paper. I use hollographic cardstock for inside the mirrors, and the wine glass.

I know sneak peak week was last week but I’m still showing off some of new dies sets. I made a basket with the new Wide Woven basket Card die and I’m using the Bam Boxes again. The Bam Boxes make this card pop open once removed from the envelope, which adds to the wow factor.

Continue reading “Winter Wedding”Yes, I’ve got 2 posts this week, yesterdays was the beginning of Sneak Week and today is Karen Burnistons design team challenge. This challenge was kind of a double challenge. We were challenged to make a card using the Fire Place Pop up, and we were all asked to choose a different month/ holiday so there will be a FULL year of fireplace cards to check out. The month/holiday I chose was…….. Valentines day ❤️. My darling husband actually came up with some of the design element ideas in this card (for those of you that know him can you guess what ideas were his 😉) I was originally stuck on how to make the pop up feet and blanket….. And then I saw the new release AND THESE BAM BOXES are a complete GAME CHANGER. With the Bam Box you can make a pop up anywhere on the card, not necessarily on the fold. So this is what I came up with
