Take 2 – Butterfly Card

So I have to admit, that I’m a bit of a pack rat. I have a hard time getting rid of anything that I might “use one day” so I decided to start using up some of my older cards that I have in box or cards that I may have started and not finished and I am calling them “Take 2 Cards” because it will be their second chance of making it out of my craft room.

The card below was part of card swap that I was part of when I was a Stampin Up Demo, over ten years ago. (Don’t judge me lol) If I remember correctly I made ten for the swap and since I was on a roll I made a few more. But since then I have been addicted to pop up cards. I decided to make the butterfly card to a pop up butter fly card.

Spa Day Surprise Cube card-Design team challenge

Its time for the Karen Burnistons design team challenge, and this months challenge is to create a card using one of the “Rubber Band Pop Up” die sets. So our options are- any of the Surprise Balls, the Surprise Cube, or the Bam box. I chose to use 3 Surprise cubes and stack them as shown. I know the foil paper looks like purple but it is actually pink, I also used a pretty pink glitter cardstock and and a bubble patterned paper. I use hollographic cardstock for inside the mirrors, and the wine glass.

Monochromatic Swirly Shaker Slimline Mobile Card

This is a card that I made a very dear friend of mine, she is also my coworker so she often gets to see my cards before they are mailed out to their recipients and I have to say she is always full of such wonderful compliments I had to make her something special. I really liked how my Snowflake Mobile card turned out so I decided to try it with balloons. I also wanted to try to use the Karen Burniston Swirls Pattern Plate on a slimline card, and I got some realllly pretty glitter for Christmas that I couldn’t wait to use, and Voila I have a Monochromatic Swirly Shaker Slimeline Mobile card. 🤗

Easy Glitter Embossed Christmas Cards

Here are some cards that I made last year, I was in a pinch and wanted to make a few quick cards. I had made a SIMILAR CARD card a few years earlier so I went with the same design. The previous card was shades of blue and I had used the pine boughs, so I thought I would use a few traditional colours (and blue) and some different stamp sets and I quickly whipped up these cards.

I post all my cards on my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see my cards on my INSTAGRAM page.

Christmas Wishes

soooo, I’m still working on my Christmas cards for this year (talking a little longer but they are pretty crazy this year)so I grabbed another card form my box. I made this one a couple of years ago. It’s pretty elegant in perso, the photo doesn’t do it justice, and one of my easier cards so it would be easy to C.A.S.E. it’s hard t see in the photo but the embossed section has glitter in it so it has a little extra pizzazz.
