Book Worm back to school card

Welcome crafty friends to my Karen Burnistons September Design team challenge card. I almost 😓 didn’t pull this one off. I have had the most hectic summer that I’ve had in a long time, and somehow I got my wires crossed in my head and put hours into a card that my daughter asked for that I thought “Hey this will work for the design team challenge.” 🤦🏻‍♀️ except it would have worked for last months challenge. This months challenge is “Cascade” and we needed to make a card using the new “Cascade Pop Up” dieset and that is thing that I didn’t do 🤦🏻‍♀️ and didn’t realized my mistake until Sunday afternoon when I was working on the blog post. So I took a different card that I had started, made a few changes and this is what I came up with.

Six Pack of Soda Pop

Hey hey, today I am sharing my second new release card. I decided to make a bright birthday card using the new Tool Box Pop up with the Six Pack Tool Box Add On. The six pack can also be used to make a six pack of beer, but i thought with the bright colours that I wanted to use, it would work better if I made bottles of pop.

Hug in a Mug

I have to say that I am pretty smitten with how this card tuned out. It is an anniversary that I made for my husband. He is the coffee drinker, and I’m the tea drinker so I thought I would combine them into this one card. We happen to have been in different provinces on our anniversary day so I hid this card and told him where to find in on the day.

Bold Brilliant Colourful You- January Release

I know I say this every time there is a new Karen Burniston release, BUT I had so much fun playing with these new dies. I found myself in my craft room quite a bit these last few weeks (my house work has been slacking 🤫)

I am so excited to share my first card from Karen Burnistons January Release. This one is my personal favourite, I used some of my favourite colours and I think it turned out wonderful. This Peacock and on turns the Arch Pop Up into this cool peacock. You can make it with a few feathers or as many as you would like to add. I decided to make a matching little peacock.
