Framed Flowers-C4C567

Hello, Hello, I’m here with the first Crazy4Challenges Sketch challenge of the new year. This card is also for one of my oldest and dearest friends and I’m kind of bummed as she hasn’t received it yet (I really don’t like posting a card until the recipient gets it but I chose to use this weeks challenge soooo I don’t have a choice 🙁) This is also the first time I got to use this die set, it was pretty easy so I am already rolling different ideas in my head on how to use it.

Here is this weeks sketch

And this is what I did with it…..

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

I really wanted to use this pretty red and pink flower paper from my Stampin Up stash, it is long retired so I went through my cardstock to find some close matches and they are listed below.

I decided to make a square card, I’ve started cutting the centre out of the cardstock layers that are covered to conserve paper.

The other elements for the card front.

The dies for the mechanism, the frame, and the flowers are from the Flip Frame Popup die set from Karen Burniston, I have photos of the progress but I recommend checking out her VIDEO if you want better directions.

Thanks for joining me! I am a paper crafting enthusiast who has a special interest in interactive cards. I get a lot of inspiration from the internet so I thought that I  would throw out my own creations with hope that it inspires someone else.
