So a few weeks ago I posted a daisies easel card, in that post I mention that I made a card that I couldn’t post because my friend hadn’t received it yet and I didn’t want to give away the surprise but I posted a different card that was inspired by the original card that a different friend of mine wanted for a friend of hers. Well this is the original card, lol that was not confusing at all 🙄

The cardstock colours used for this card are Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White,, Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi, and Early Espresso, all from Stampin’ Up, The blue cardstock used for the flower pots is Core Color Cardstock in 2 different shades of blue.
To make the card base I used a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock that is 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 4 1/4″ and 6 3/8″, and another piece of card stock cut at 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ (sorry I forgot to take a pic of this with the Coral cardstock but the measurements are the same)
add adhesive to the top flap ( the smaller flap) as shown
and then adhere the 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ square to the adhesive as shown.
Next, I cut out 2 pieces of 4″ x 4″ in the Crisp Cantaloupe, I used Calypso Coral ink and I sponged the edges of both squares.
I adhered one square to the top of the top panel of the card, the other square I adhered to the inside square.
Next, I cut out the flower pot shapes using Karen Burnistons Flower Pot POP up die set
Then I used an Emery board to rough up the coordinates card stock.
I added adhesive as shown. I want to be able to tuck some of the plants into the pot so that is why I chose to assemble the pot this way
Flowers, I assembled lots of flowers and leaves. I added clear plastic dots in the centers for dimension
Now to add the flowers to the pot
I used Stampin dimensionals on the back to have the flower pot pop up a bit from the card base
I cut the “Thinking of You” message with a die from my stash, I cut it out three times and layered one on top of the other for dimension.
I used Wink of Stella to add shimmer to the greeting.
Then I added the message and a few spare flowers to my card.
What a beautiful card. So creative
