Autumn Bouquet- November Design team challenge

Hello crafty friends, today I am sharing my Karen Burniston Design team challenge card. This month’s challenge was to use “Fall Colours”. I found this patterned paper in my stash and choose coordinating

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would share your own creations.  A video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

I started with the patterned paper and found the orange and the Kraft cardstock and cut the cardbase and the panels as shown below.

I layered the panels and and added them to the front, back and the inside.

I try to pull out diesets that I may have not used in a while so I pulled out my Photo Collage Pop Up, assembled and added to the card base (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ )

So I seem to be a collector of diecuts, I always seem to have extras so I started sorting them by colour, I chose the flowers and leaves in autumn colours. I stamped the greeting from the Garden Greeting Clear Stamps, and diecut with a rectangle from the Greeting Labels.

The diecuts that I used are mostly from these diesets- Flower Pot Pop Up, Flower Pot Add on, Butterfly Collage Add on, and the Autumn Elements.

I added shading with alcohol markers and highlights with a white gelly roll pen to the diecuts and added them to the mechanism. I cut the orange borders from the Border Blends Trims and then backed it with a strip of kraft cardstock. I also added the Happy Birthday, and the Happy Birthday Shadow.

I added borders to the inside, a square to sign (also from the Greeting Labels) and one last flower.

I thought the Happy Birthday was a bit lost in the patterned paper so I outlined it with deep red marker.

I should have added red to the inside borders as well but I gave it away before thinking about it.
