Usually, my cards fall into the “cutesy” category, this card is more of a “shabby chic” card. The Paper for this card also led the way in how this card came to be.

“Balloon Birthday”
Inspiration comes to me in many ways, most times the recipient of the intended card plays a big part. Maybe they have a pet, maybe their favourite colour is blue, maybe they love Harry Potter. Today’s card all started with a piece of paper, my friend who will be the recipient of this card is one of the happiest people I know, she can make me smile or laugh with just a phone call and more often then not she brightens my day. So I found a pretty bright piece of designer paper and went from there.

“Birthday Cupcakes”
Happy Friday. This is a Birthday card that I made for my brother. His birthday was a month ago, but the snail mail was particularly slow on this one. I choose bright colours for this one, and cupcakes since I wouldn’t be able to eat cake with him this year so I thought I’d send cupcakes 😉

“Rub-a-dub Dub, 2 dogs in a Tub” Birthday card
Sorry, it’s been a while, I’ve been busy building 🙂
This is a Birthday card that I made for a friend, She has 2 dogs so I thought this would be a card that she would enjoy I tried to make the dogs sort of resemble her dogs, I found out after that the little guy should have had some black on him too. 🙂

“Bear in a Box, Birthday card”
These cards have really cool “WOW” factor. It folds flat for mailing but pops open into a 3-D box with all the fun elements popping out. This style of card can be used for any occasion and they are pretty easy to make.
