Peek-a-boo Monster

It’s spooky season and time to share my card for the Karen Burniston Design Team Challenge. This month’s challenge is β€œPeek-A-Boo!” I wanted to make a fun card for one of my Granddaughters so I came up with this cute purple monster. I also have a mini monster peeking over the band on the front of the card. I knew I need to make 3 cards, for 3 sisters so I decided to make a series of Halloween cards using the same size card base, and the same colours and patterned paper. This card is the first of the series. I am also using some of Karens new stamps on this card.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

Santa Clauses are Coming to Town

I can’t believe we haven’t even gotten past Halloween yet and I’m already stressed about Christmas cards. So when this week Craft Roulette parameters came up I knew I was making a Christmas card. This weeks parameters ⬇️

This is the card I made, I used Kraft, Vanilla, and red cardstock, the β€œnot cardstock” pieces are the acetate, the patterned paper, the ribbon, and the glitter. Santas work shop colours, I’m sure there would be wrapping paper in Santas work shop and my colours match the wrapping paper in the front. Santas coat would have a collar even though his beard is in the way. I added gold bow collars on the itty bitty Teddy Bear, and last but not least I used a Zig Zag ribbon on the inside borders.

Sending Hugs, double Oval Frames Popup

I’ve been thinking about pulling out the Oval Frames Pop-up dieset but was trying to think of a creative way to use it. Then I sat down to watch Friday’s episode of Craft Roulette and it came to me. These are this weeks parameters ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

The 2 folds are the gate folds, I decided to make a wooden slat planter and fill it with brightly coloured flowers. The 2 girl gnomes both have a smiley face, and the old product I used was old string and an old pink metallic elastic thread to tie the bow on the front.

Surprise Elephant Birthday Card-C4C527

Welcome to the weekend Woo Hoo, is it just me or was this a really long week, wow. With all the craziness going on right now with the COVID-19 I am looking forward to a quiet weekend and hopefully some time in my craft space. I am so anxious to share this card, it cracks me up every time I open it. Lol πŸ˜† I have been looking forward to making this card ever since I saw Karen Aiken’s Monkey Card for some reason I kept thinking the ovals would make great elephant ears.

This card is also a Crazy4Challenges challenge and this weeks challenge was a design challenge. I had to use a sketch for the front of the card and I was free to do the inside however I wanted. And this is what I came up with.

March Sketch
