Triple Spin card- Halloween Haunted Mansion

This was almost the card I was going to post for last weeks designer challenge as the theme was Halloweenor or Fall but I decided that Inwanted to be different than the rest and go with fall. Back in July Karen Burniston made a card using the Spinner Square dieset, where she used it THREE TIMES on one card, to make a “Triple Square Spinner Card”. I absolutely love when she teaches new ways to use dies that I already have. But anyone who knows me knows that I challenge myself to find a way to put my own spin (yes the pun was intended) on it, so instead of squares I decided to make a giant Haunted Mansion. This is what I came up with.

With this technique not only does the haunted mansion pop up but the bats, and the “boo” swing from left to right, and the ghost swings from right to left. Sliding Skeleton Shaker Pop up card

IT’S SNEAK PEAK TIME, and I’m so EXCITED. I made a few cards and I had a hard time choosing which one to post first. I decided on this one because it uses 3 new products so it’s 3 sneak peaks 😁. This adorable Skeleton from the Skeleton and Bats set, the Slim Pattern Plate- Spiders, and the Slim Pattern Plate – Bats. All the dies used for this card are from Karen Buriston, I will list them as I go, and all the links will be at the bottom of this post. I cut enough pieces so I made 2 cards. The front of the card is a shaker, with a skeleton, I didn’t want him to get stuck upside down so I added him to a thread so he could glide up and down with out the possibility of him flipping upside down. Boo to You! C4C507

Trying really hard to get back on track, well at least this week’s Crazy4Challenges challenge is done on time 🙂 it’s the third weekend of the month and that means it is a sketch challenge. I don’t typically make Halloween cards but I thought that I would give it a go. I can’t take much credit for the card as the front is a design challenge and the inside is a close re-creation of a Karen Burniston card.
