This is also a birthday card for my horror movie loving brother….. can you tell who the slasher is. This is my third year of making horror themed birthday cards for him, the first year was Jason, and the second was Freddie, and here is Michael….

You Make my Heart Sing- Silver Anniversary Card

I was sooooo EXCITED when Karen came out with music notes in her last release, for those who follow along on the Karen Burniston Pop-up Peeps page know the music notes have been a popular request. For the August design team challenge we were given the challenge “Let the Music Play”. For design team challenges I try to find a way to mix some of the newer released items with some of the previously released items and for this card I am using the previously released Pop’n Swap with the new Piano Keys Pop up, and the new Music Charms

Baseball card-take 2

Hello crafty friends, today is designer challenge day for the Karen Burnistons design team. This months challenge is “from the fault” and we were asked to create a card using a previously made card as inspiration. I decided to use a card that I made for my nephew as inspiration, and this is what I came up with.

Oh Christmas Tree

Todays card pulls DOUBLE DUTY….. it is Design team challenge day AND it is my second Sneak peak card for Karen Burnistons December Release. The Design Team challenge was to have a Christmas stocking on the card, I chose to use the stocking border on the front as well as having them as ornaments on the tree.

It’s hard to tell in the photograph but I did use the brand new Raising PlatformPop up dieset. The tree top raises up outside the limits of the card when opened.
