Squirrel Friends Birthday card

Yeah I’m a little late this week, my day job is cutting into my craft time, if you’ve been following you’d see that I have been playing along with Craft Roulette, it is quite fun and sometimes following the parameters is quite a challenge, but so worth it when a fun and unique card comes out of it. This weeks parameters areโ€ฆ..

My card of choice is โ€œpop upโ€ , I used strawberry fields colours, my bench is my chair, and I used yellow plaid. Here is my card.

Crafty Friend Birthday Card

I am sooo bummed, I just did this blog, the entire thing, was in the very last steps and for some reason my app closed and I lost it all ๐Ÿ˜ข so here I go again. I really like how this colour combo works together. Iโ€™m not typically a yellow/orange person but I really like how these colours pop against the blue. Iโ€™ve been having so much fun with Craft Roulette, so I thought Iโ€™d play again. This weeks parameters were to have a โ€œcard on a cardโ€, โ€œSky viewโ€ colours, it had to have a โ€œtableโ€ (this one almost got me) end it had to have white dots or spots. So I went with a messy craft table, with a slimline card sitting on top (bonus challenge, if you know me if there is a card on my messy table it would be a pop up card, so I made a pop up card for my mini card) The colours I chose remind me of a sunset. And the flowers all have little white dots and the gems look like white dots against the blue. This card design is based on a Valentine card that Karen Burniston made a few years ago.

Double sided Shaker Rainbow card

This is my 4th entry for the Craft Roulette card making challenge. Again this is a card I donโ€™t think I would have ever made without being challenged to create within these parameters. The parameters this week were to create a โ€œPeek a Booโ€ card, colour theme was โ€œfirst graderโ€, the element is โ€œRainโ€ and the random is โ€œDistress edgesโ€. And for those who follow me know itโ€™s a given that the card will also have a pop up mechanism.

Double Easter Bunny cards- April designer challenge

Easter is just around the corner, so when Karen announced that the April Designer Challenge was to have a card with a โ€œBunnyโ€ on it, it was kind of a no brainer. This card has an Easter Bunny on the outside and a chocolate bunny on the inside. This is my take on a CARD that Karen Burniston made a couple of years ago. For those of you that know me, you know why I need 2 ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿผ

Touch of gold, Birthday Card

So apparently Craft Roulette is going to be a thing now lol. It is pretty fun, and a great way to come up with cards that you may not have. This week’s parameters were to 1- make an Easel card, 2- colours that you would find in a cornucopia, 3- rhyme with โ€œakeโ€ and 4- has to have something gold on it. So I have a slimline with an easel feature on one side, I used red, gold, yellow, and green. I have a slice of โ€œcakeโ€, I have a gold thread around the easel with a bow, and pulling double duty I have โ€œGold Flakesโ€ used as confetti
