Carried Away Valentine

Ok, I know it’s a bit early but I’m in a Valentine mood, so I went digging through the Valentine card photos that I made last year but hadn’t posted. I don’t generally like to post a card before the recipient receives it. So I’ve got a few from last year kicking around. Today’s card is the card I made for my husband last year. Looking back at the photos I realize either I didn’t take many or I thought I had posted this card and had deleted them all. As there are no photos of me actually assembling it so I will give the best explanation that I can.

The fun is in the motion. To see this card in motion please check out my Facebook page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. The video can also be found on my Instagram

Now, my sister has been receiving cards from me for years now, and it’s hard to come up with unique cards especially when your sending it to someone who means so much to you. Last year I sent her a pretty over the top card (see it HERE) so the presure was on to come up with something really special, but I tried. and this is what I came up with…….

its a card that is fabulous on the outside…

and fabulous on the inside, just like my sis, Love you Sis

the magic is in the motion. so if you would like to see this card in motion please check out my Facebook page, and feel free to join if you would like to share your own creations.

Celebrate Your Way

I’ve got a fun Birthday card today, and it is the first time that I used my Triple Flip die sest. This card is for someone who doesn’t like a lot of fuss for his Birthday so I made the front flaps look like a traditional Birthday card with cake, a gift, and balloons, but when the flaps are flipped they reveal the way he would rather take in the day which would be hanging out with his dog, enjoying a cold beer, watching Ghost Hunters lol

If you would like to see a video showing this card in motion please check out my Face Book page https://www.facebook.com/groups/MyMessyCraftroom/ Also feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations.

Hi, all, so a few months ago I was asked to be a guest designer for the Crazy 4 Challenges blog for the month of May 😊, the first challenge which will be posted on Saturday, May 4th, and the challenge is to use leftover paper, card strips or scraps. As soon as I saw the challenge I knew what scrap paper I would use, it is by far one of my favorite paper packs and I lovvveeee the colour combo, and I have a pile of bits and pieces.

To see the Crazy 4 Challenges blog post https://crazy4challenges.blogspot.com/ it will be posted on Saturday, May 4th 2019
