Celebrate Your Way

I’ve got a fun Birthday card today, and it is the first time that I used my Triple Flip die sest. This card is for someone who doesn’t like a lot of fuss for his Birthday so I made the front flaps look like a traditional Birthday card with cake, a gift, and balloons, but when the flaps are flipped they reveal the way he would rather take in the day which would be hanging out with his dog, enjoying a cold beer, watching Ghost Hunters lol

If you would like to see a video showing this card in motion please check out my Face Book page https://www.facebook.com/groups/MyMessyCraftroom/ Also feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations.

Like mentioned above I used the Triple Flip die set from Karen Burniston to create this card. I also watched her VIDEO which I recommend if you plan on making your own Triple Flip card.

The Cardstock used is from Stampin ‘Up and colours are listed in the details below. The papers used are from my crazy paper stash, sorry its an unsorted mess.

Apologies, I used the terms Flippers and Flapper throughout the instructions, they are the same thing LOL sorry for the confusion.

Below are some of the decorations I cut out, here is the list of what they are, the dies are all from Karen Burniston.

The dog is from the Cat & Dog die set cut from Crumb Cake Cardstock, sponged with black ink, highlight with a white marker and I trimmed the ears a bit, coller is Real Red

TV is from Memory Charms die set, cut from Basic Black and Silver, highlighted with white marker and I used a ghost rub on from my stash.

Beer is from the Happy Hour Charms Die set cut from More Mustard and Whisper White, sponged with Crumb Cake ink.

Balloons are from the Explosion Pop-Up die set cut Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzazz Highlighted with White Marker

Gift is hand cut from the red paper, the bow is from a retired set called Props 1 cut from Crushed Curry

The pieces of cake is from a retired set called Props 8, cut from Chocolate Chip and Early Espresso , highlighted with White marker. The candle is from the Cake Pop-Up die set but I trimmed it to fit.

The Crushed Curry Rectangle was stamped and sponged with Pacific Point ink, The “Celebrate” stamp is retired Stampin’ Up and the letters for “YOUR” is also retired Stampin UP. The letters in the word “WAY” is from Walmart, probably at least 10 years ago.
