Ok, I’ve got card #2 today. If you read PART 1 you would know that I started this by making 5 panels from the same stamp set, set up the same way. Some I did on Water Colour paper and some I did on Vellum cardstock. The card I’m showing today is one that I made from the vellum. I really like how this technique turned out. The photo doesn’t do it justice.

Hello, hello, hello, this is the first time I’ve done a multi part blog post but this is the only way I can continue posting semi regularly but still keep this idea that I had (as all 5 cards aren’t done yet 😜) work out. This idea started with this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge which was to create a Christmas card with Blue in it, think Elvis’s “Blue Christmas” and I wanted to stamp and emboss Silver snowflakes. So I dug out my Stamping platform and was setting up and thought since it’s on the platform I might as well do more than one. So I did a few on watercolour paper and I did a few on vellum card stock and just knew I wanted to do them all different so an idea was born LOL. I’ve read a few comments from crafters this last few weeks about struggling to find different ideas on making different Christmas cards. Well this way you can use some of the same supplies but still come out with five different cards. (I will edit this post once I have all 5 cards posted so they are easier to find. I’m not sure if each card will gets it’s own post but will figure it out as I go)

Isn’t it funny how one idea turns into another, then another and then poof you have something completely different that what you originally planned, that is exactly how this card started. This weeks challenge was to make a card with a snowman ⛄️ on it, and I originally planned on just using a snowman stamp, 🤔 then I was going to diecut a snowman, then I planned on having a card that had flaps and as you opened it, it would show a different part of the snow man and when 3 flaps were opened I would have a complete snowman….. and then I came up with this. It reminds me of a book I read as a child where you can move the flaps and the characters would change clothes.
Here is what I came up with, and these photos are all taken of the same card.

EDIT if you came here from Facebook but not my page, I was unable to post videos to all the other pages I generally post to (I just posted a picture). There is a video on my My Messy Craft room page. It’s a long clip so it made it to big and took too much time to share.

Ok soooo I’m desperately trying to make this year’s Christmas cards, and these are my FIRST new cards for this year. Usually I am way further ahead by now, I’ve even had a hard time finding inspiration so this card is CASED from a Card that I made last year, and this is what I came up

This is a card I made for Christmas many years ago (before slimline cards were as popular as they are now), I made about 40 of them and sent them to family and friends, I found this one in a box of old cards so I thought I would share. I made it well before I started blogging so I don’t have photos of the process but I am describing it as best as I can.
