IIIITTTTT’S KAREN BURNISTONS SNEAK PEAK WEEK 🤩 and I have to say there are some pretty fun dies sets with this release, I wasn’t even sure what to start with.

I thought these 2 sets together would make a great alternative to a birthday card, I made three coordinating Surprise Cubes which fit perfectly inside the new Slider box. I left one side of each cube blank so there are places to write birthday greetings and this is what I came up with. This is so fun, when you open the box the cubes fly out. Lol.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.
I needed to make a masculine birthday card/box so I went stash diving and found these coordinating papers (I believe they are from Creative Memories) and the cardstock is from Stampin Up.
1- diecut the pieces to the box
2- diecut pieces to cover the outside of the box
3- diecut pieces to cover the inside of the box

4- assemble the box and decorate. ( Karen will have a video tutorial shortly I will update with link)

5- die cut the pieces to make the cubes. 2 each per cube
6- diecut and assemble the pieces to decorate the cubes. I cut a little more than I needed. You will need 4 squares per cube and 8 triangles per cube. I also cut out matching stars.

7-8- assemble the cubes. ( Karen will have a video tutorial shortly I will update with a link)

9- decorate the cubs. I also diecut Happy Birthday and the Happy Birthday shadow.
