Happy Birthday double Flower Collage

I recently received the Heart Collage Pop up dieset and was so excited to give it a try. But I wasn’t feeling an all heart card. I also recently received the Butterfly Collage add ons dieset. I knew I was going to try to do a double pop up and thought that there would be too many butterflies so I decided to mix in flowers. I used all the flowers from all the Karen Burniston diesets I currently have.

Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve posted. I’ve had to pack up my craft room so unfortunately I won’t be able to post very often, it will be temporary but I’m not sure how long. Anyway here is a card I made for my daughter and I decided to use this weeks challenge as a starting point. I thought this design would be great for adding all of her favourite things. This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge.

So April is winding down and it is my last week of hosting the Crazy4Challenges blog. This week I decided to do an inspiration challenge, I choose a piece of artwork from work because I always thought is was pretty, if you zoom in you will see that there are other colours that aren’t noticed right away, and gasp….. this isn’t a pop up card 😱

I had a hard time getting the effect that I was aiming for, after several attempts I gave up and tried something new, and this is what I came up with.

It’s April, yay, and I am the host for the Crazy4Challenges Challenge Blog all month. This means that I get to choose the challenges for each week. According to the days of the year calendar April 3 is world party day. So for our first challenge of the month it is to have a party themed card. And what’s a party without gifts, balloons and streamers LOL. I’ve got bright colours and a fun double mechanism for my card, this is what I came up with. (Lol I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I shouldn’t be left unattended with the bling. Lol)

Hello, hello, I felt like trying something I haven’t done yet when making this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge card. This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge, which means I follow the sketch for the front, but I can do whatever I want on the inside. I decided to do a fun pop up mechanism, using multiple die sets.
