Sending Bugs and Kisses Box-January Design Team challenge

Happy New Year crafty friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my take on Karen Burniston’s January designer challenge which is “Bugs”. For those of you that follow along (and actually read) my blog you know that when I make a project I typically figure it out as I go. This project is definitely one of those. I started with a loose idea and then I went completely down the rabbit hole and ended up with this. Typically I add links through out the post but because most of these use mostly the same die sets I will link them at the end. If you follow the link, Karen has video tutorials for each set (just scroll down a bit once you get to the product)

I have to say I think these little critters are adorable!!!!!

This months challenge is “Letters” so I decided to use the Mini Alphabet & Numbers to diecut the message on the front. This is also a birthday card for my horror movie loving brother….. can you tell who the slasher is. This is my third year of making horror themed birthday cards for him, the first year was Jason, and the second was Freddie, and here is Michael….

Rainbows and Fairies

Good morning crafty friends, today I am sharing my July Karen Burniston Design Team challenge and this month’s challenge is “Rainbows”. At first I was stumped trying to come up with a unique way to make a rainbow card. I decided to add little rainbow coloured fairies and have them colouring the flowers in the rainbow colours. So if you look closely, you will see there are bits of some of the flowers that are not coloured in to imply that the fairies are colouring in all these nature elements.

Seasons Change Golden Anniversary

Hello, hello, its that time again Crafty Friends, today I have my September Karen Burniston Design Team challenge card. This months challenge is “four seasons” and we had to incorporate 4 seasons in our cards. In Karen “Seasons” stamp set there are stamps the say “seasons change”, “and love remains” which I thought would be perfect for an anniversary card.
