I think this gnome is so adorable, and once I saw Karen Burnistons Video tutorial on making this cutie I knew I had to give it a go. The Surprise Ball pop up mechanism is what makes this so card so much fun
All the fun is in the pop-up so if you would like to see a video of this card in action please check out my Facebook page or my Instagram. Please feel free to join my facebook group if you would like to share your own creations.
I am so excited to show off this card, I think it turned out super cute and I have to thank Karen Ostergard , this months Crazy4Challenges host for coming up with this weeks challenge as I don’t think I would have thought to make this card without it. So you are probably wondering, what is this weeks challenge and it is…..BBRRRR. it’s cold outside in most of the Northern Hemisphere or it’s quite warm in the Southern Hemisphere. Do a winter themed card if you live in the north and a summer card themed card if you live in the south. Well I live in the North so winter card it is, but at first I was a little stumped as Christmas just past and I didn’t want to make a card that looked to Christmasy. Then I saw a Surprise Ball Valentine video from Karen Burniston that gave me the idea to make this fun snowman, and here it is.

*So this is the last Crazy4Challenges challenge of the year, our challenge this week was to choose a design from one of the previous design challenges, and I decided to use my Surprise Ball pop up to make it a little more interesting.
I chose do to the C4C484 design, I decided to make the largest circle into a window and make it a pop up card.

I just love magic cards, they are so fun and they have such a fun surprise when you open the card, so when I saw the version of a Magic Card using the Parcel Pop up mechanism I knew I just had to give it a try. The size shape and mechanism for this card are all from Karen’s video tutorial (link will be below) I thought the ornaments would be a fun image to use so I chose my stamps and paper colours and away I went.

I finally got my Christmas cards done (yay me 50 of them) so I finally get to play with this fun Photo Collage Pop up die set (early Christmas present 🙂 I also had to make a card for this week’s Crazy4Challenges challenge. This week’s challenge was to use my favourite Christmas stamp set and or Christmas die set to create a Christmas card. Hhmmmm a favorite was so hard to pick. I have always loved snowflake stamps and over the last 13ish years I have accumulated a few so I picked out one that was a little larger than the rest and went with it, and I also thought snowflakes would work well on the pop-up mechanism, so this is the card I came up with.
