Parcel Pop up Magic Card

I just love magic cards, they are so fun and they have such a fun surprise when you open the card, so when I saw the version of a Magic Card using the Parcel Pop up mechanism I knew I just had to give it a try. The size shape and mechanism for this card are all from Karen’s video tutorial (link will be below) I thought the ornaments would be a fun image to use so I chose my stamps and paper colours and away I went.

The magic is in the motion so to see a video of this card in motion please check out my Facebook page, also feel free to join if you would like to share your own creations.

The die sets to make this card possible are from Karen Burniston and they are the Parcel Pop-up and the Flap & Closure. I also used a die from the Argyle Border blends. It would be impossible for me to explain in photos so please watch Karen’s VIDEO if you want the full tutorial on creating this card.

The card stock and designer paper are all from Stampin Up and are listed below. Sorry but the paper is a retired pattern.

I started off by masking the ornaments so I could overlap them and then colour them. The ornament stamps are also retired Stampin Up stamps.

Here are the steps in stamping onto the cardstock and the acetate. Stazon ink is what is used to stamp on the acetate, and I used the Momento ink to stamp on the cardstock as it is alcohol marker friendly.
