Six Pack of Soda Pop

Hey hey, today I am sharing my second new release card. I decided to make a bright birthday card using the new Tool Box Pop up with the Six Pack Tool Box Add On. The six pack can also be used to make a six pack of beer, but i thought with the bright colours that I wanted to use, it would work better if I made bottles of pop.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would share your own creations.  A video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

I started by picking out the patterned paper (retired Stampin Up) then I chose some matching colours. I made the card base and cut the panels, as shown below. The patterned paper panel shown below doesn’t look right because the dimension are correct but the panel shown is from before it was cut.

I cut the panel from the Postage Pop up, and this is where I decided to cut the patterned panel and then cut the stripped paper and added as shown.

I used squares from the new Squares Cascade Add on and the Greetings Labels to add the layers shown below.

I cut the Tool Box Pop up and altered it with the new Six Pack tool box add on (Karen will have a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ soon) I added it inside the card.

I wanted the pop to look like it was inside a glass bottle. So I diecut the bottles to make a stencil, then I coloured the pop, I did colour a bit outside the lines to give me a bit of wiggle room when it comes time to die cut. I used double sided adhesive and added it to velum. I then adhered the vellum over the bottles.

I die cut the bottles and then I added the labels and caps, then I used a grey alcohol marker to add shading and a white gel pen to add highlights. Then I added the bottles to the box.

Using the Stamps shapes from the new Squares Cascade Add on and layers from the Greetings Labels I layered the patterned paper as shown. I also added a stamped greeting from the new Beer and Soda Sayings and a place to sign. I thought I needed a bit more colour so I cut out streamers from all the colours using a die from the Explosion Pop up set and them added them randomly around

I cut matching pieces for the front and added the stamped greeting from the Photo Memories Clear Stamps. I also added some itty bitty gems randomly around.

I added some itty bitty gems randomly around the inside as well.
