Welcome crafty friends, today I am sharing my card for the November Karen Burniston Design team challenge. This month’s challenge is “Fun Faces” so the challenge is to use the Fun Faces 1 Stamp Set in any way we chose. And I decided to add them to these cute daisies to make this fun card.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.
This card was relatively easy to put together. I cut out 4 Fancy Label Accordion (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ ) panels, and some of the smaller labels in this set. I cut different layers from from white (not shown) green and the green patterned paper. I also cut green frames from the Fancy Flourish Frames, and Fancy Solid Frames from the patterned paper. Because I cut the frames first I didn’t have much of the patterned paper to cut full pieces of the label layers so I cut sections and planed to get creative.

I added the frames around the panels as shown. On the first panel I put a set of patterned frames on the back side also. Using a brush and dark green ink I added ink to the bottom right of the label part of the panel. I inked the edges of all the label layers with dark green ink and stamped the birthday message using stamps from the Rainbow Greetings Stamp set. I used a White Gelly Roll pen to add highlights to the top left of each layer. This is the first panel.

I cut out several white flowers and yellow centers using the Fun Flowers die set. To make the faces I stamped them with Versa Fine Black ink to the yellow centers. I used a yellow alcohol marker and a white gelly roll pen to add shading and highlights. I also used a grey alcohol marker and a blending marker to add some shading to the white petals. I added flowers and leaves to the first and second panel (note I am only using a partial piece of the patterned paper piece, but will cover it with leaves and flowers. Hmmm it seems like it’s missing something 🤔

I thought it needed a little something and I decided to add a few swirls. I cut the swirls from the Pattern Plate Swirls die. I snipped them apart and added then sporadically around the card between the flowers. I cut the tiny flowers from Twist Flower Pop Up. I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen

I connected the panels together, first end to end then the inside labels and folded as shown.

I added a few tiny gems randomly around the card.
