I am so excited because today is the beginning of Karen Burnistons new release SNEAK PEAK week!!!!

And by popular demand she has made Music Charms 🎵🎶🎵🎶 and I couldn’t wait to show them off. This Just a Note Lorna add on is also part of her new release.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.
I don’t often make A2 sized cards but I thought I’d make one since I have a billion A2 sized envelopes. Lol
Cut the card base and panels as shown. The cream coloured panels were cut using the largest of the Crosshatch Rectangles. The patterned panels are 1/8” smaller than the black panels.
I added the layered panels to the front, back and inside of the cardbase.

I die cut a Lorna Label pop up from black card stock then I cut out the centre using a die from the same set. I cut out the Just a Note Lorna add on and assembled as shown, add the Lorna Label inside the card. (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ )

I created a smaller card using the dimensions below.

Diecut and assemble the Heart Collage mechanism and add to the small card. (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ ) I did have to trim 2 of the arms as they slightly stuck out the sides of the card. But it is hardly noticeable.

Now that we have Stamps, I coloured the “ You Rock” stamp from the new music 3” x 4” stamp set using 3 bright Stampin Up markers and sponged the edges with black ink. The oval die is from the Lorna Label set. I die cut notes from the Music Charms, and from the Piano Keys Pop up (the Piano Keys Pop up notes are slightly larger than the notes from the Music charms) from some bright colours from my scrap box. I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen. I added the brightly coloured notes to the mechanism from the bottom left to the top right. (The photos are reversed) I added gems from the bottom left to the top right. I added a small oval (same as the one that says “YOU ROCK” and added to the bottom right.

Add the little card inside the big card as shown. I tied a thin Grosgrain ribbon loosely around both cards as shown. The ribbon can easily slide up and down to open the bottom card. I added glue to the knot so it won’t work itself out.
I diecut black and cream coloured rectangles using the 2 smaller Rectangles Crosshatch. Cut and assemble the piano from the MUSIC CHARMS and more notes this time in black.

Finish by adding the last of the pieces as shown.
