Happy Birthday Pile of Presents

I needed to make a masculine card for my Father-in-law so I found a nice striped paper and started there. This is my first Rockin Rectangle card and I really like how it turned out, it is a really fun mechanism

To see this card in motion please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

The card stock is all from Stampin Up and the patterned paper is from wild asparagus. Colours are listed below.

I used Karen Burniston’s Rockin Rectangle dieset to create this card. I followed her VIDEO tutorial to create this card, she made her card to look like a box of chocolates, I decided to make a pile of presents.

To make the zig zag edge I used the ARGYLE BORDER BLENDS die set. When I cut the border there was a little zigzag scrap that I hung on to and used later on.

Like mentioned above I used the Rockin Rectangle die set to make the mechanism. I have photos of my progress but I recommend watching Karen’s Video (link is above)

I used Karen Burnistons Word Set 9-LOVE to cut the XOXO Seen above.

Thanks for joining me! I am a paper crafting enthusiast who has a special interest in interactive cards. I get a lot of inspiration from the internet so I thought that I  would throw out my own creations with hope that it inspires someone else.
