Birthday Pivot Panel card-C4C516

*Happy New year!!!!!!! I’m sorry I have been away, I generally take a little break around Christmas as my day job is retail so life is usually really hectic around the holidays. But I am back with a very Sparkly Birthday card. Not only is this my first card of the new year it is also the first Crazy4Challenges challenge of the year, this first challenge is to try something new on your project, either a new-to-you product or technique. I decided to make a card using the Karen Burniston “Gift Pivot Panel” die set. It is a die set that I haven’t used before and I have never made a pivot panel card before. This is what I came up with.

This is a card that I made for my friend and colleague Katherine. Katherine is one of my biggest fans and always shows great appreciation for the cards that I make, even when they are not for her 😂, I new this card had to be fun, and sparkly so I picked a pretty pattern that had some matching colours of paper, and also had matching glitter paper. These papers were given to me by a friend so I’m not sure where they are from ☹️ The cardstock that I used is Petal Pink from Stampin Up as it seemed to match up pretty well.

The dies that I used are all from Karen Burniston. The card base is from the Circle Tagbook and the inside mechanism is the Gift Pivot Panel. I also used the the box and bow from the Parcel Pop up dieset to decorate the front and the back panel. Check out this VIDEO on how to create this mechanism (the only difference is I added mine inside the panels for the Circle tag book instead of a standard cardbase)

Thanks for joining me! I am a paper crafting enthusiast who has a special interest in interactive cards. I get a lot of inspiration from the internet so I thought that I  would throw out my own creations with hope that it inspires someone else.
