Cheers to you-C4C504

It’s the weekend so I have a Crazy4Challenges challenge, today we have another fun Calendar day challenge, apparently today (september 28th) is “Drink a Beer day” and I just happened to have a friend who needed a Beer themed card, so how about that, it was meant to be.

First off I would like to mention that I don’t have quite as much detail with the directions, life has been pretty hectic so when it comes to creating the mechanism for this card I have added the link to Karen Burnistons tutorial video which I would recommend anyway.

The cardstock and the ink are from Stampin Up and the colours are listed below, the stamp sets are also retired Stampin’Up stamps, the paper was in my stash, sorry it’s not labeled.

The mechanism to make this card is the Frame Pull Pop-up die set, altered to make a Waterfall card. To see the VIDEO tutorial check this out.

Colours Used

Here are some photos of some of the steps , this is where you would need to watch the VIDEO

I decided to alternate the different colours for the different pages of the waterfall. add them to the score lines on the mechanism.

I decided that I would like to have a bit of a different look so I decided to add the squares and the frames in a bit of an off kilter look, I put them in on an angle, making sure that the squares don’t cross over the fold. Two of them I trimmed a little off the frame so they would fit better.

The Beer dies are from Karen Burniston’s Happy Hour Charms dies, the cake is also one of her sets but it is currently retired

I didn’t take a picture(but can be seen in the video on my facebook page, link above) I adhered the second blue panel to the backside of the card panel so a message can be written there.
