Pink & Gold Accordion Birthday card

I always enjoy the reaction I get whenever I give an accordion style birthday card. There is something so neat and just fun about them, even when I’m going for an elegant look, it is still a really fun card.

As complicated as it looks this card is actually fairly easy to assemble, I am using an accordion die set from Karen Burniston. This actual die has been retired but she currently has a “Fancy Label accordion” die set http://karenburniston.com/fancy-label-accordion/ ) she also has easy to follow video directions https://youtu.be/a2T2HY3HbJQ

All the cardstock, ink and stamps are from Stampin’ Up, cardstock used is Early Espresso and Pretty in Pink, Ink used is Early Espresso and Versa mark. I stamped the swirly stamp on the espresso card stock with Versa Mark ink and sponged the edges as well, then covered with gold embossing powder and heat set. On the pink pieces I stamped the swirly stamp, and message stamps with espresso ink. The butterfly punches and pearls are also from Stampin’ Up

Thanks for joining me! I am a paper crafting enthusiast who has a special interest in interactive cards. I get a lot of inspiration from the internet so I thought that I  would throw out my own creations with hope that it inspires someone else.
