Last year was Jason, this year its Freddy. My brother loves horror movies and I’ve been enjoying making him these birthday cards, my head is already thinking of what to do next year.

I had so much fun playing Craft Roulette this week, especially since Karen Burniston was the guest. I don’t typically play when the episode is live but this week I at least got to start my card while the show was live, I worked on it a bit Saturday but didn’t get the chance to finish until Sunday. Here is my card along with this weeks parameters.
As always I also try to add my own challenges which are to 1- make it interactive/pop up, 2-use a dieset I haven’t used before, and 3- to use a die set I haven’t used in a while. This is how I met all of the parameters…
The Flowers Pivot Panels is the die set I have never used before, Wordset 14- Hugs is the dieset I haven’t used in a while. I used a small gift card-sized envelope ( I bought from Amazon) to make the “Faux Envelope”, I used Strawberry colours, I have yellow strings on the front and the inside, and I have several Flowers overlapping on the front.

Another week of Craft Roulette, another fun card I wouldn’t have come up with without it. And I love their new photo download option ⬇️ . I also gave myself two extra parameters one is to use a set I have never used before and one is to use a set I haven’t used in a while.
This is how I met the perimeters… the card is an 4”x 8” slimline card, mountain colours are the blue sky, green grass and the colours of wild flowers. The flamingo is a floaty, and it’s riding the water waves. The Circle Charm Pop up is the set I have never used, and the floaty from Tiny Sets 4 is from a set that I haven’t used in a while.

Yay I got to play Craft Roulette this weekend , and make a card I needed to have done sooner then I typically get them done. Lol. Gotta love when things fall into place and I really love how this card turned out!!!
Soooo I really wore my stretchy pants for this one, as typically an A2 card is a specific sized card that is 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” and I don’t know how I forgot this parameter when I started the card. Who I am kidding, I got excite when I found card stock to match this fun paper that reminded me of a blue and white tea set that I own, and the green for green tea, and that the candles had “stripes” I totally got half way through assembly when I had that ooh oh moment. There really isn’t a way to make a square accordion card into an A2 so I was just going to finish the card and forget about submitting then I had the idea to mix papers on the greeting on the front and made the “A” and the “2” in gold. oh and I also fashioned the dog into my sweet Lexi wearing a party hat. Phew parameters met ✔️

I’m still sharing cards made with Karen Burnistons new release, this card uses the Piano Keys Pop up, and the new Music Charms. I wanted a fun vibrant card so I picked this fun paper with coordinating cardstock.I decided that I didn’t want any black on this card so I made the piano keys pink.
